“I am writing to you as a satisfied customer. As a former Tvan owner I had been looking at the Kimberly Karavan for some time and part of the reason for finally ordering a unit was your capability to answer in detail, my questions including, in some instances, your ability to relate to personal experiences.
At the placement of the order we mentioned that we had planned a trip to Cape York in July 2008 and wished to take the van with us. This left quite a tight lead-time considering the van had yet to be manufactured, as a General Manager with a manufacturing firm I understand the challenge that this may create. However James and the team delivered the unit in time. Furthermore as we had no time for a “shakedown trip” as part of the pre-delivery you also ensured that additional checks were completed.
During the trip the van performed very well. So well in fact that we took it over the overland telegraph track including the infamous Gunshot Creek crossing! The Karavan attracted attention wherever it went and in some instances people questioned how it handled on the more challenging crossings and corrugations etc. In my opinion as long as you pick your lines and take it steadily there is no problem.
James and Stewart also completed a full service after my return and completed some fine tuning and offered further advice. Overall the reason for my letter is to thank James, Stewart and the rest of the team for courteous, prompt professional service.
